Chicago duo J. Arthur and dotkom have recently released a revamped version of their “Marathon” collection. Think boom bap mixed with a future sound and some soul mixed in. While “Request Line” made some waves in the indie world, this project proves that it’s perfectly okay to be versatile with songs like “Over Your Head” and “Never Catch me Slippin'” crossing genres. J. Arthur’s vocals and domkom’s raps go hand in hand smoothly like peanut butter and jelly.
