Sir Michael Rocks finally released the much awaited project, Populair, recently, and it is FIRE. While it might be some of his best work creatively, he switched his style a little too let us know that he’s not afraid to take on new things. The album starts us off with “In My Mode” which sounds like what goes on inside of the LA native’s head. “Perfect” is an ode to positivity and prosperity in a Mikey Rocks type of way. “Alone” is a different approach, however, letting us know what he can’t stand, but shows us he’s back on his grind, solo. –-Fatima Baqi
