La Jose Drops ‘Rush Hour’-Themed ‘Chris Tuck’ Single

Netaway The Label rapper La Jose has his listeners revisiting one of the biggest film franchises of the early 2000s with his latest single.

Kicking the year off with a bit of nostalgia, La Jose shares his infectious and catchy “Chris Tuck” single produced by Lino Tarentino.

Serving as one of the first teasers from his upcoming project, “Chris Tuck” captures La Jose’s fluid and melodic cadence as he raps about the struggles of being a breadwinner.

The single doubles as a show of faith for La Jose, who remarks on his glow-up all while declaring his faith in himself, as he raps “I done came up out the blue/Now I’m shining like the sun/Steady preaching on all of these beats I’m Rev Run.”

The release of the single marks a major turning point for La Jose, who recently spoke about his decision to quit playing collegiate football and pursue his dream as a rapper during a podcast interview earlier this month. Now, La Jose is on the brink of breaking out following the release of his 10-track Jose Vs. TheGenie album last year.

He’s also crossed paths with several notable artists including Los Angeles’ own OT Genasis, to start off the year.

The Netaway Label is also on the rise behind strong releases from flagship artists such as Duke Bin Laden and NWG Suave who just joined forces with DaBaby’s right-hand man, DJ Kidd, for his recent single.
