Inglewood, CA native League is pacing the competition with sleek luxurious raps and a flow that rivals the smooth suspension of a 2022 Audi on his new single “A7”. After releasing a plethora of songs with frequent collaborator Two Time, he’s in isolation mode with the fervor of a bald-headed, teenaged Kobe Bryant on his six song EP “Young Kobe”. However, League won’t be airballing any open shots as all six songs swish into the listener’s earlobe. “A7” is League’s signature leaned back sound poured over ice and mixed with Sprite as it incorporates a Houston style chopped and screwed elements. J. Gray contributes mightily to the track like a prime Robert Horry in the fourth quarter.
The Fresh Gesh directed video shows League living exactly what he’s rapping about with a (not-rented) Audi A7, dirty Sprite, and hillside views. This level of quality is matched throughout League’s “Young Kobe EP” remaining consistent due to his mamba mentality while in the studio.
