It has been more than three years since Mississippi-bred rapper FlyRich Double went viral after he dropped his defining “Yup (On My Tractor)” single.
Now, with 2021 coming to a close and massive mega-hits such as Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” padding the airwaves with the type of country twang that lives embedded in his hallmark hit from 2018, FlyRich Double is ready to take things to the next level — starting with the release of his new Double Or Nothing EP.
The nine-track effort serves as the follow-up to his 2019 project The Hick Hop album and includes guest appearance from up-and-coming rapper CGE Killa J.
During his promotional interview on the Diverse Mentality Podcast, FlyRich Double breaks down how artists such as Chief Keef and Post Malone inspired him and also opens up about the trials and tribulations he faced while popularizing his meme-fueled brand of country rap eventually helped him land his new distribution deal.
