International production duo Alonzo Fibonacci’s putting out the first single (“Skylar Diggins”) off of their upcoming production album. The single features Holland Izz and Az Chike. The project features a diverse pairing of artists that you wouldn’t necessarily expect to hear together on the same album, but it just works. The production pair have a unique ear and sets of influences that can sound vastly different yet still manage to be cohesively linked through the beat selection and vibes.
Skylar Diggins is an energetic, bouncy record that immediately transports the listener to the West Coast. Holland Izz’s infectious hook, (an ode to WNBA all star Skylar Diggins and all women who are ballin’ like that) and humble flexing sound at home on the track and tee things up perfectly for Az Chike to gas on second verse. This record will feel right at home in dj sets from morning mix shows to late nights in the club.
