West Coast rapper Doeboi909 proves he’s about his money in his new release, Trap Babies 2, with songs like “MONEY WALK,” featuring trouble kidd, “HUNNED OFF DA PHONE,” featuring Frostydasnowmann, and “NO SLEEP,” Doeboi909 makes money moves throughout the album, exploring his hood, identity, and losing his homies to the streets. The album is fourteen tracks centering around Doeboi909’s street endeavors, as his album, Trap Babies 2, growing up poor and wanting and needing more for himself.
Doeboi909 raps about being from the “gutter,” to now being able to afford Louis Vuitton bags, and having Benihana’s every night, showing his growth not only as a success but as an artist as his sound has matured or refined on Trap Babies 2, making for some of his best work to date. From the start of his professional rap career in 2019 with his song “In The Streets,” featuring young Drummerboy, Doeboi909 has shown this aptitude for creating what he defines his sound like West Coast gutter trap. So it is no shock Doeboi909 awes his fans with his latest release.
