Although we live in a fast-paced world full of, “What have you done for me lately?” type of people, patience and calculating a plan still brings out the best results. Having not released a single since 2018, ascending artist, Cuddlethot has been working on her debut project this whole time. While the time lapse may have caused some to leave the bandwagon, for those who stayed, they were greatly rewarded with her new project, The Melting Thot.
At 10-tracks, The Melting Thot finds it’s footing on the back of Cuddlethot’s impressive lyrical ability. Chopping through verses like warm cake, she showcased her pen and incredible array of cadence structures on songs like, “Tunechi ’11,” and, “Dirty Cursive,” as she displays her versatile rhymes. Another notable area to note is how even though there are a lot of features with 9 guest appearances–including Orlando Brown–the project always feels in her control. Consistently taking the mantle and running away with it, she proves without reasonable doubt that she has the chops to create a lane for herself in this industry.
Check out the project below and snag some of those bandwagon seats before it’s too late.
