Capolow Releases “Down” With Accompanying Visuals

Rising rapper from the Bay Area, Capolow, is back with another single and a music video to go along with it. “Down” comes to us after his release of the banger “Drop That Bag”, which has over a quarter million views on YouTube. With back to back singles releasing in just a matter of a couple of weeks, I think it’s pretty obvious that we might be getting a Capolow project sooner rather than later.

“Down” is produced by OG Drum Major (credits for Young Dolph, Lil Boosie, and Trouble, among others). Capolow slows down his flow for this instrumental, which is the opposite direction from the previous track. With two different styles of tracks, you just know this next mixtape is going to be as versatile as it gets. The Oakland artist raps his take on the classic nursery rhyme, “Ring a Ring o’ Roses”. Instead of flowers he’s talking about a Patek Phillipe and the “pocket full of cabbage” he has.

The music video is directed by Catchrec, who has worked with Wiz Khalifa, The Kid LAROI, and Lil Durk, among others. Capolow is seen rolling around the hills in a classic drop top whip, and hanging around a couple of dime pieces.

“Down” is another track that builds anticipation for this upcoming project, and I would expect an announcement for a release date coming soon. It’s really only up from here for the East Oakland rapper. “Down” is out now on all streaming platforms, and the music video is out now on YouTube.
