GOGETTA KB SHARES WITH US HIS DEMON WAYS ON NEW EP “DEMON RAP”

After having last released his single “Float” a little less than a month ago, GoGetta KB continues his upward trajectory with the release of his newest EP, Demon Rap. As the title suggests, Demon Rap taps into one of the many sides of GoGetta KB. As one of the more versatile artists coming from LA, GoGetta KB has shown us he can rap, sing, and create hood bangers. On Demon Rap, however, he returns to his lyrical self. No gimmicks, no hyper melodic hooks, only the real. Featuring production from frequent collaborator Chris O’Bannon (SLGHTWRK), The Homie Olme, Marvel Mayne, and Lil Tapri G, GoGetta KB put together a talented mix of west coast producers to curate the sound for this personal EP. Demon Rap is a subgenre GoGetta KB says he created to translate his negative thoughts to musical masterpieces.

On this EP, KB welcomes us to the mind of his 22-year-old self, who has overcame the unimaginable while  growing up in the streets of South Central. Per usual, we are given a hood anthem with “Sh*t,” featuring Tapri Grams. Tapri Grams is actually the lonesome feature on this project. With a strong buzz in Long Beach and a quickly growing popularity throughout the West Coast, it is no surprise Tapri G is the only feature on this project. Songs Like “Play Ball” and “Fired Up” are menacing, they embrace the smoke and evoke a sense fearlessness. One feels like Kobe in the 4th Quarter while listening to these two songs, and nothing anybody says or does to you will affect your end result, because you’ve already ingrained in your mind you’ll succeed. The last two songs, “Demons” and “Pain” are more heartfelt songs exploring the personal trials and tribulations of GoGetta KB. He offers a sincere look into his actions and reactions to certain situations.

Make sure to listen to Demon Rap below and tap in with GoGetta KB for all future releases!
