Los Angeles is experiencing a well-documented renaissance in regards to Street Rap at the moment. Churning out potential new superstars every single day, the City of Angels has had a wonderful track record in the last couple of years. One of those artists has been native, P1, who completely dazzled the scene with his single, “Big On Big.” Returning to the forefront, he switches gears on his engaging new single, “Pray For Me.”
Produced by Lou Siefer, “Pray For Me,” is a reflective, heavy record that finds P1 getting personal on verses, with Krazy Beautiful providing the beautiful relief on the chorus. Rhyming about bad times, good days and everything in between, the brilliant record gives P1 a chance to get a lot of feelings off of his chest, pushing forward for a clean slate and a new mindset. Combining that notion with some beautiful vocals and scathing truth, and you get this wonderful new single.
