Inglewood’s Rucci, is back with a brand new EP titled “I’m Still Me”. His first EP under Empire comes after his full length 2019 album, Tako’s Son. The project has five new tracks with some features from AzChike, RJMrLA and Vince Staples. Rucci’s project proves even after being signed he’s still riding in his city with his windows down, soaking in the sounds of his city and keeping his Inglewood cultivation.
In his last track “Midget” he dives back into his familial story as he gives a subtle nod to his father and uncle who are both dealing with legal situations while reminding everyone his neighborhood nickname before rap was “Midget” not Rucci. Whether you refer to him as Midget or Rucci, he’s making giant strides in the rap game and as he states with his title “I’m Still Me”.
