Pofsky isn’t the archetype you think of when you think of young new rappers. He doesn’t have face-tats, he doesn’t chase clout, he isn’t toting guns and drugs in every visual, however what he does do is get exponentially better with every release. The 22 year old Ventura County native recently made some noise as his “Trap Pofsky EP” was well received as it hit Audiomack’s trending charts, amassing over 10 thousand plays in roughly 48 hours, then made its rounds around the blog circuit.
Now, only 6 weeks later, Pofsky returns with another four track EP titled “Balance”. As “Trap Pofsky” showed him exploring more secular themes and darker sounds. “Balance” has him talking about love, the absence of it, courting women, over sunnier production. This project is a true breakout moment for the artist who looks to be one of the most talked about artists in the greater LA area and branch out of the 805 area code like his predecessors Anderson .Paak and KYLE.
