Top Dawg Entertainment’s own Reason drops a brand new single featuring Ab-Soul and Compton’s Boogie with an accompanying visual. First, I’d like to give props to Reason for getting Ab-Soul on “Trapped In” as it appears he may or may not been trapped in the studio. The two Carson natives previously linked up in 2019 for Soulo’s single ‘Flick It Up.’
Directed by Jon Primo and Moosa of TDE, the visual communicates the message of how people get trapped in vicious cycles they have trouble escaping. Reason, Ab, and Boogie go around dapping kids up who are playing basketball, as well as gamblers, hustlers and stick up kids. The recent output by Reason is reason to believe he is preparing to release his sophomore album very soon.
