In the last decade, Canada has turned into a scorching hotbed for talent. Whether it’s basketball, hockey, actors/actresses or anything else, Canada has showed its’ chops as of late, and the one area that they’ve really been successful in has been music. Just naming the superstars, Canada has produced Drake, The Weeknd and Justin Bieber in the last 10-15 years, which doesn’t really have to be explained any further, and following them up has been a stable of acts like Tory Lanez, River Tiber, Nav and more. Looking to join the ranks and establish himself as one to watch in the next decade, Ontario artist, Chris Goma delivers his infectious new single, “Show Me.”
Co-produced by Goma and Kai The Guiii, “Show Me,” finds it’s lane within the funky, bass-heavy grooves that layer the background. Going back and forth with featured artist, Geneva White, the two make for a powerful connection, both utilizing the duet as a chance to really showcase their chops over the Jazz-inspired music. With this serving as Chris’ debut release, the sky is really the limit.
