Kyle Banks & Correy C hit the Avenue with a heartfelt track titled “Promise” that is sure to bring out all sorts of emotions in listeners. With the passing of The Great Nipsey Hussle hitting so close to home, a song such as this one is an outlet for all that fans are sure to be feeling.
A truly moving track that holds the production of Meez & XL with the perfect saxxophone playing of Danny Win. As the emotionfilled vocals of Banks comes in, the strength & pain of having to move forward can’t be ignored while he sings, “If I don’t make it, make it tonight…” He assures his love that he’ll be okay, & encourages her to stay strong during such a difficult time. Correy delivers a verse where he speaks on personal experiences of being apart of a society that looks to him as trouble.
