According to Google, a cholo is a young man belonging to a Latino-American urban subculture associated with street gangs. Inglewood’s Rucci may be referred to as a cholo by definition but he’s much more. Today, he’s undoubtedly one of LA’s best new artists, and is headlining his own show tonight at The Sake Store on La Brea. As a gift to his fans he released the long awaited “Cholo” song which he teased via social media for months. The Romo produced record samples the classic “Lean Like a Cholo” by Down AKA Kilo and Rucci absolutely murders it like it was an enemy on his turf.
