East Los Angeles rapper Viva Mescal makes his Rosecrans debut with his visual for “Peyote Cactus.” The Mexican-American rapper from Boyle Heights is a man of many talents from artist to audio engineer, the East of the River (EOTR) group member does well to represent where he’s from down to his roots.
Opening with different shots of East LA, Mescal is seen meeting up with a young boy as they walk through the streets that he talks so fondly of. With his Spanglish bars mixed with an old-school flow, the track carries a vibe of Chicano rap that is a rarity to hear at the moment. Watch & share the visual below!
