Jay Rock has given us a trailer for his long awaited album Redemption, which is slated to come out next Friday, June 15th. The first TDE signee shows in his video his humble beginnings in TDE back in 2007; from hanging out with Kendrick and showing where he grew up, to taking you through the streets of Watts. New music from the album is also teased, and it sounds incredible. Other TDE members talk about how important Jay Rock has been to the group and the type of style he brings to the stacked lineup of the famed record label. The tracklist has yet to be released, but there’s rumors of a track with Jay-Z in there somewhere, so keep an eye out for that.
