Buddy – “Black” Feat. A$AP Ferg Vertical Music Video

Buddy has released a unique vertical music video for single “Black” featuring A$AP Ferg. The visual is presented in black & white as he sits within a barber shop getting lined up cutting quickly to photos of Magic Johnson & Muhammad Ali, setting the prideful tone for he track well. Buddy begins the track rapping in front of Inglewood’s Forum, show casing other places such as the Slauson & Randy’s Donuts.
Driving down the highway with a bottle of Hennessy in hand as he raps, it quickly cuts to art pieces of slaves, Black Panther Members with fists in the air, & Obama. As one may have already heard from his single, he doesn’t hold back by speaking on oppression, Trayvon Martin & the injustices he & the ones before him have & continue to go through. Ferg appears for his verse via Facetime closing the track, watch the powerful visual below.
