Kendrick Lamar To Produce The “Black Panther” Soundtrack

Speculations arose about Kendrick Lamar’s involvement in the music for Marvel Studio’s Black Panther film when his music video for “LOVE.” came out and had an easter egg involving the Black Panther film in it. Most people were thinking that Kung Fu Kenny would have a song in the movie, but today the official news came out from Marvel, and it’s even better than what most of us thought. Kendrick, along with Top Dawg Tiffith and TDE will curate and produce Black Panther: The Album, Music from and Inspired by the Film. There is no word yet on when the soundtrack will be out, but Black Panther comes out on February 16th, so I’m sure it’ll be out before the movie. I can’t wait to hear what TDE has in store for this, and I’m real excited for Black Panther next year. Check out the first single from the soundtrack, “All The Stars” by SZA and Kendrick below.
