Earthgang Releases “Rags” EP & Visual for Single “Meditate”

Earthgang is the newest duo to be signed to J. Cole’s record label Dreamville. Although they are new signees, the Atlanta natives have been very familiar with the Dreamville camp for quite some time now. Having toured with Bas in 2016 and just recently opening alongside J.I.D on certain U.S. dates of the 4 Your Eyez Only Tour.

The duo who is made of members Doc & Venus recently released their first EP under their label titled “Rags” that is said to be Episode 1 out of 3, continued by an album. The 5 track EP has production credits from Childish Major, Elite, Ron Gilmore Jr., and more; from start to finish the EP is intoxicating.

The visual for their single “Meditate” is unique in lamest terms. The duo alongside their Spillage Village brother J.I.D are seen in black and white striped prison uniforms, trying their best to make their way down a wooden bridge. Then the scene cuts to the trio on a canoe making their way to a setting that looks similar to what one can see on the news daily. If one pays attention the video shines light on many things that are going on within our society today, as they “Look for peace in America.” Be sure to check it out below and stream their new EP.
