It’s summer meaning it’s concert and festival season! This past weekend I got to experience the West Coast in full effect.
I started off at Downtown LA’s The Novo (at LA Live) to see RJ with Sadboy Loko, Splacc and Fresco. With it being summertime, they brought out many of their homies from LBC, Leimert Park, Compton to Watts: Uncle Snoop, Dom Kennedy, YG, scHoolboy Q, Joe Moses, Jay 305, Leswood, and Earl Swavey accompanied by DJ Hed.

Now to Summertime in the LBC–which was at the Queen Mary–legendary to say the very least. It was a hybrid of 1985, 2007 and today put together. Lots of OGs and the next generation were there.
