One half of Fool’s Gold Records duo LNDN DRGS, Jay Worthy sat down with Cypress Moreno for an entertaining and informative interview. The Compton-based artist speaks on finding his sound, meeting his group-mate producer Sean House, and being discovered by owner of Fool’s Gold Records, A-Trak. Jay also describes his time living in New York and east-coast fan’s reception of his unique brand of music.
When asked about his debut project with LNDN DRGS ‘AKTIVE’, he tells Cypress they successfully displayed what their sound was, what they were about, laid their foundation for future projects and felt like they knocked it out of the park. Worthy even shared some sparse details about LNDN DRGS new album. He hinted there would be bigger and better features as well as revealing it would again be released on Fool’s Gold Records. Then, Jay dropped a bomb-shell and stated he is working on a joint project with a member of OPM group Warm Brew. The Aktive rapper also dished on his role in the very popular NOISEY BOMPTON series.
