2015 might just be the year of the return of Long Beach. With artists like Vince Staples, Joey Fatts, TayF3rd, G Funk Supreme, and the “Coco” man himself OT Genasis, now we have Joey Chang. A native coming straight from the city by the sea, I actually found out about him because he opened up for Casey Veggies a while back. There is an abundance of blood, sweat, tears, rhymes, and beats put into “Since 09“. While “Work Ethic” and “Work Hard” push us to grind, they are also perfect for radio airwaves and I wouldn’t be surprised if his popularity skyrockets soon. “Peace” and “Could You” show off his bars and love for the game.
