Fresh off the streets, three of the West Coast’s biggest talents brought us “California Livin‘”, named after the late and great Mac Dre. The artwork, provided by Long Beach’s Joe Cool, is reminiscent of Snoop’s West Coast staple, Doggystyle. All of the tracks, produced by hip-hop super producers Cookin’ Soul remind us of who runs the west. “Drivin’ Like I’m Loco” samples a young Snoop’s “Serial Killa“, “Block Party” reminded us that summer is in Cali all year long with the dope beat sample from Warren G, and while “LA Confidential” is actually from Nipsey’s RAW collab with Blanco, but it still bangs.
The mixtape is now on Datpiff for download and stream.
