For the first time in 16 years we have a new Dr. Dre album to listen to. I don’t seem excited enough there, hold on, ITS A NEW FUCKIN’ ALBUM BY DR. DRE!!!! Ok now you can begin to grasp how excited I am about Dre’s new album, Compton. The Dr. delivered this beautiful 16 track baby for all of us to enjoy. Everything I’ve heard from the project so far is A1, everyone brought their A game including Eminem, Kendrick, The Game, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, along with new comers Anderson Paak, King Mez, Justus and more. This is an album you really need to purchase, but if you’re not totally convinced yet, you can stream it, then cop here.
Also, Dr. Dre called in to Zane Lowe’s Beat1 show and spoke about the album and revealed that royalties from his new album will go towards funding a new arts center in Compton for the kids. You can listen to that interview here.
