Glasses Malone ft Kendrick Lamar “Thuggin”

Watt’s own Glasses Malone is back with a banger titled “Thuggin” and since I already heard this on the radio this morning, I feel like this is going to get on the radio and get some well deserved spins. The producer samples Bone Thugs N Harmony’s “Foe The Love of Money” featuring Eazy, if I’m not mistaken. And like Bone Thug’s classic record Glasses too taps a Compton Legend, in G’s case it’s Kendrick Lamar. Glasses uses his grimy flow to explain his Tupacesque thug life mentality and K. Dot lays some incredible bars down. My favorite being, “I’m in denial witcha, I be dialing dead homies numbers off this liquor“.

The two bring this instrumental to life with the perfect mix of aggression and relaxation. It’s like when you were a kid and you were being bad at the store, your Mom or Dad would grab your arm, look you in the eyes and say “Wait ’til we go home”. I mean it’s way cooler than that and you don’t harbor resentment towards Glasses or Kendrick after so I would say it’s definitely ten times better than that. Listen below!
