It seems like Big Sean can do no wrong, especially in the past month or so. The G.O.O.D Music artist has had a monstrous couple of weeks that started off last year with his banger “IDFWU” and this year’s “Blessings” remix that boasted featured verses from Drake and Kanye West. Then his pre-Grammy concert in LA in which seemingly every big name person attended, from J. Cole to J. Lo. Which was pretty awesome considering that Kanye performed Gold Digger (“my psychic told me she’ll have a ass like Serena, Trina, Jennifer Lopez..”).
But another single, “Lose Some, Win Some” , has caught our attention, considering our support for local artists. Featuring vocals by the beautiful Jhené Aiko, this track is slowed down a bit. It rips the ever famous “you win some, you lose some” advice that seems played out, especially having played in sports. And Sean knows this, he’s heard this his whole life but “that doesn’t make it right.” Listen to the track below and make sure to cop Sean’s new album Dark Sky Paradise that drops this Tuesday, February 24th.
