Long Beach’s own Boogie is back! Further growing his buzz with this record which also doubles as food for your soul. Boogie reminds us to keep reaching for the clouds no matter what. The Long Beach emcee shares a story of a gangmember “bang on him” in front of his son and his thought process on how he reacted.
This may be an obvious comparison, but this song reminded me of Kendrick Lamar’s “Average Joe” and the story K. Dot wrote about. Very dope track, we can’t wait to hear what else Boogie has in store in 2015.
