Nipsey Hu$$le has dropped his much anticipated Mailbox Money mixtape! The $1000 mixtape? yes that one. The idea that a mixtape could be worth 1 grand has definitely garnered lots of attention, some say he is crazy, some say no album could be worth that much. But, thats what everyone initially said about his 2013 project CRENSHAW, and he sold 1000 physical copies of the album at $100 a piece and Hov bought 100 of those copies.
We will see how many of the 100 pressed copies of the tape Nipsey sells, but does it even matter? He made a good body of work and if even one person buys it for $1000 that is still remarkable. Nip is making boss moves many will begin to follow, it seems like rap is just his side hu$$le at this point.
