Big K.R.I.T’s much anticipated album, “Cadillactica”, released this week. After the hype that “Mt. Olympus” got as a sort of response to Kendrick’s monstrous “Control” verse, I was eager to see what else K.R.I.T had in store. LA native DJ Dahi produced a couple of joints on this project, and was actually one of the only guest producers on the album, since K.R.I.T produced most of it himself. A Best Buy bonus song, however, might be the best one on the album.
“Let It Show” starts off with the southern rapper sounding annoyed that mothefuckers are telling him that he cusses way too motherfucking much in his lyrics. In fact, most of his fans are telling him to tone it down. But y’all don’t know K.R.I.T’s life, “bitch, I’m grown.”
He points out that most of his haters think they’re ballin’ but they’ve never hit the court while he throws “money at bitches like you would think it’s a sport.” I think they call that making it rain from deep, if you catch my drift. On some Steph Curry shit.
